Rohit Kumar Poudel was born on September 2, 2002 (age 21; as in 2023) in Buddha Basti town, Ward 14, Bardaghat Region, Nawal parasi Area, Nepal. His astrological sign is Virgo. Career

In July 2018, he was named to the Nepalese team for their One Day International (ODI) series against the Netherlands. Nepal played their first ODI games since gaining ODI status during the 2018 Cricket World Cup Qualifier. In the 2018 MCC Tri-Nation Series, he played his maiden Twenty20 match for Nepal against the Marylebone Cricket Club on July 29, 2018.
